Head  Coach Varsity and Pinnacle Football

Coach Zupke was a two-year starter at Servite Catholic High School in Orange County, CA.  He was a team captain his senior year.

After high school, Coach Zupke played for four years at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA, where he started at Defensive Tackle for two years and one year at Center. He was team captain his senior year. He was also voted most inspirational player.

Coach Zupke began his high school coaching career in 1992 at Marcos de Niza High School in Tempe and was named their Defensive Coordinator a few years later.  In 1996, Coach Zupke became the defensive coordinator at Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, where he was part of five region titles and three state titles between 1996-2002.

Coach Zupke came to Pinnacle High School in 2003.  In 2017, he surpassed 100 wins.
