REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2024 SEASON

 
*ATTENTION PARENTS/GUARDIANS*
 
Registration for all New and Returning players is completed through SportsEngine and MUST be submitted from a SportsEngine Account registered in YOUR NAME (Parent or Guardian) NOT Your Athlete!

Failure to register correctly may prevent You and Your Athlete from receiving vital Team Communication.

Annual Sports Physicals

 

  • All Athletes MUST get a new Sports Physical each year!

  • Physicals MUST be Dated after March 1, 2024

  • Physicals MUST be completed on the official 2024/2025 AIA Physical Evaluation forms.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR THE SEASON

Hello everyone!  Welcome to the 2024 Pioneer Football Season! 

We would like to provide a few tips and reminders as we prepare for the official start of Spring Football in May. 

How to Reach Us
Reach out to us at JVReps@pinnaclefootball.com if you have a question, need support, or want to share something with us.  We will use this email for individual communications throughout the season. 
 
Team Communication
This year, ALL team communication (emails, alerts, and chat) will be delivered to your email or text via SportsEngine.  We do not send team emails via the TeamRep accounts.  PLEASE ensure your SportsEngine (SE) accounts are set up correctly and use an email you check regularly.  If not, there’s a good chance you won’t get all the important info you need.  
 
If you know any parents or guardians who are not receiving team communication, please have them contact us at JVReps@pinnaclefootball.com, so we can help get them set up.
 
SportsEngine Team Chat
Reps and Board Members typically use this feature for urgent communication or last-minute reminders, such as field or weather changes. If you’d like to be notified when this type of message is posted in the chat, please make sure your phone’s notifications are set up to allow SE notifications.
 
Team chat is also a great tool for anyone who has a question or wants to share something that benefits the “group”.  Just remember, chats and your replies go out to the entire Varsity team, so please chime in with info/answers but keep the “thumbs up” to a minimum so phones aren’t dinging all day.
JV Communication Web Page 
This page, located on the Pinnacle Football website under the Teams tab >> JV 24, is another tool to help you stay organized and up to date.

The Communication Page is a place where you can find past emails and previous communication sent from JVReps, Board Members, or Coach Zupke during the 2024 season.  We will also post flyers, forms, waivers, and other documents you may need to access quickly.  In short, if you can’t find that pesky email, know that you can check this page and find every important email that's been sent out this season, organized by date. (Please note, this page is private and can only be accessed if you are logged in to the website with your SE email and password.)

Team Calendar   (Link to Calendar)
Spring practice schedules, 7v7 games and tournaments, and other events for spring/summer are posted.  Please be sure to check the calendar regularly as it is updated frequently.

To view the Team Calendar, make sure to:

  1. Sign in to the Pinnacle Football website with your SportsEngine email and password or you won’t be able to view calendar events.

  2. Tag “JV 2024” in your calendar settings.  If you are not sure how to do this, please click this link for instructions.  HOW TO SET UP TAGS ON THE TEAM CALENDAR

Summer Lifting, Speed, & Agility Camp
Make sure your athlete has signed up for the summer lifting program designed to provide a consistent foundation for our players to ensure success in the fall.  Registration for this camp is through PVUSD Community Ed.  Click the link below to register for summer lifting: 
 
Reminder: Do Not Use The H Lot for Pick-up, Drop-Off, or Parking
The H lot is for faculty and staff only and all players, parents, fans, etc. must use the student parking lot to the north of the stadium.   Coach Zupke enforces this policy and any player who parks or is picked- up/dropped-off in the H building lot will be subject to team discipline.

Get Your Annual Sports Physical via Banner Sports Medicine - 5/11/24 @ PHS

Banner Sports Medicine will be hosting an Annual Sports Physical event at Pinnacle HS on May 11th.

  Date: 05/11/2024
  Time: 8:00a – 11:00a
  Location: Pinnacle High School

WHAT TO BRING

 

  1. $15 - CASH ONLY!

  2. PRINTED, COMPLETED & SIGNED - AIA Physical Evaluation Packet  (All pages of the AIA evaluation form must be completely filled out and SIGNED prior to arrival.)

  3. SIGNED "Consent to Treat" Form providing consent to Banner Sports Medicine staff to evaluate an athlete.

Parent/Guardian does not need to be present IF all paperwork is completed and signed upon arrival.
No verbal permissions will be accepted.

Annual physicals are required for all athletes participating in High School sports and completing your Register My Athlete/Aktivate registration.

Summer Lifting, Speed & Agility Program

Message from Coach Zupke

 
My expectation for ALL PLAYERS in the Pinnacle Football Program is to participate in our summer Strength, Speed, and Agility camp.  It is my strong belief that for our teams to have success on the field, they must prepare as a team.  I believe in all players building "sweat equity".  When a player sees all of his teammates working, it builds trust in the team. 
 
The summer program provides a consistent foundation for our players to ensure success in the fall.

Reminder - Do Not Use the H Lot for Pick-up, Drop-off, or Parking

When dropping off and/or parking, please DO NOT use the H lot.  This lot is for faculty and staff only.  All players, parents, fans, etc. should park and drop off in the student parking lot to the north of the stadium.   Any players who park, or get dropped off or picked up in the H building lot will be subject to team discipline.

JV/VARSITY CAMP - PRESCOTT, AZ - JUL 22-26, 2024

July 22 - July 26, 2024

 

  • Lodging and meals will be provided on the campus of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, 3700 Willow Creek Road, Prescott, AZ 86301-3720

  • Practices and events will be held at Prescott High School

Players will depart Pinnacle High School Jul-22 @ 12:00 pm and return to Pinnacle High School on Jul-26 @ 2:00 pm

 

Total Cost: $400 

The PVUSD Camp Permission Forms and Packing List are attached below.  Permission Forms need to be submitted to Coach Zupke no later than Wed, July 17, 2024!
