Tonight we finished out our season with a hard fought victory against a solid opponent.  Coming into the game we knew the winner of this game would claim supremacy in the Desert Valley region with their team's 7th victory.  When all was said and done we proved that we were the best team tonight and finished with the best record in our region at 7-1-1.  I can't say enough about the effort from this team all year, what a turn around from 2-7!  I am proud to have coached this group for the past two years and I am very excited to see what the future holds for them as they move up to Varsity.  Tonight's game was a combined team win, with the offense scoring throughout the game and the defense making timely stops.  We recovered an onside kick and had some great returns on special teams.  Jackson Harley scored 2 rushing TD on 159 yards, and passed for 71 with 1 TD.  Jacob Capizzi came up with an INT late in the game to ice it.  Good luck to all of our players moving up to varsity and to everyone else, get to work in the weight room to start preparing for next season.  Thank you for all of your hard work and good luck on varsity.
